In July 2017, I picked up a Rubik’s Cube at Mumbai airport during a delayed flight. I was 45 years old. I had no engineering background, no design training, and no plan.
What followed changed everything.
Working from my home in Ahmedabad alongside a full-time career, I taught myself 3D design, CAD modelling, and digital manufacturing entirely through self-study. Over nine years I created approximately 150 twisty puzzle designs and counting, each one an attempt to push the boundaries of what a twisty puzzle can look like and how it can move.
My original invention, the Manish Hexacopter, was commercially manufactured by Calvin’s Puzzles and is sold across 18 countries. My second commercial design, the Manish Cubo-Copter Plus, launched worldwide in June 2026.
Every puzzle on this site was designed, prototyped, and refined in Ahmedabad. No factory. No team. Just an idea, a 3D printer, and years of showing up.
