3x3x3 Semi Siames

The Rubik’s Cube in the problem starts out as a conventional 3x3x3, but it then goes through an unusual transformation in to 3x3x3 Semi Siames. The cube’s appearance and usefulness are changed by the addition of laser cut 3mm MDF extensions to each face. The final product is a “semi siamese” cube, a modified 3x3x3 cube. In this variation, Siamese-style components are included, which means that two or more pieces are joined and move as a single unit. The semi-Siamese cube has locks as well, which adds still another level of intricacy to the problem. With these changes, the Rubik’s Cube becomes an engrossing challenge for puzzle fans looking for a novel take on the original Rubik’s Cube experience.
