The 2x3x3 Pillowed Ghost Cube combines two modifications. The cuts are offset (the ghost idea), and every face is domed (the pillowed idea).
On a flat ghost cube you can at least use straight edges to judge alignment. Here the curves take that away. Because the base is a 2x3x3, some turns are restricted to half turns, so you also have to think about which moves are even possible.
Who it’s for: solvers who already know a ghost cube and want a harder read.
Why it’s worth it: curved surfaces show every flaw, so each pillowed face is sanded until the domes flow into one another when solved. Two modifications on one puzzle, both done by hand.
