The 2x2x2 Pentatrap Ghost Cube is a 2×2 core with 3D-printed extensions that form an asymmetric, pentagon-based outline. Like any ghost puzzle, the cuts are offset, so pieces differ in shape.
Most ghost puzzles are single-colour. This one has multi-colour stickers, which gives you a foothold while you learn to read the geometry. The shape still does most of the work of confusing you.
Who it’s for: a good bridge between a standard 2×2 and fully single-colour ghost puzzles.
Why it’s worth it: an asymmetric shape is harder to make than a symmetrical one: every extension is unique, so there are no shortcuts in printing or fitting. Built one at a time by its designer, not in a batch.
