The 4x4x4 Icosahedron Ghost Cube uses 3D-printed extensions to turn a 4×4 into an icosahedron, a solid with 20 triangular faces. Offset cuts give the pieces many different shapes.
With so many small triangular facets, the scrambled puzzle has no obvious faces at all. You solve it by finding the pieces whose angles fit together, then working outwards. At 105 mm it’s also a strong display piece.
Who it’s for: experienced 4×4 solvers and collectors of polyhedral puzzles.
Why it’s worth it: twenty triangular facets have to meet at sharp vertices, which takes patient hand-finishing. One of the most visually striking pieces you can own at this size.
