The Kilohexaminx Ghost Cube starts with a Kilominx, the corners-only, two-layer version of the Megaminx. 3D-printed extensions reshape it and offset the cuts so pieces come in many shapes.
A Kilominx is solved like a large 2×2. That logic still works here, but the pieces no longer look like corners, so the first job is working out which piece is which.
