The 2x2x2 Octahedron Ghost Cube takes a 2×2 mechanism and builds it out into a full octahedron using 3D-printed extensions. The cuts are offset from the octahedron’s centre, so the pieces differ in size and shape.
The result is a puzzle that fits in your palm but behaves like a much bigger one. Turns change the outline completely, and the solved state is the only time it’s symmetrical.
