The 4x4x4 Curvy Mirror Cube uses 3D-printed extensions to give a 4×4’s layers different thicknesses, mirror-puzzle style, with curved surfaces instead of flat ones.
On a regular mirror cube you can compare flat steps. Curves blur those differences, so judging which piece is bigger takes more care.
Who it’s for: solvers who have done a mirror cube and want a harder, more tactile version.
Why it’s worth it: curved surfaces need much more hand-sanding than flat ones to look right when solved.
